Stumped Knock-a-Block – Starter Set

Stumped was founded in 2015 by a family-run business in Knysna, South Africa. Their aim is to introduce a range of wooden toys and kits that would reignite a love for timber crafts in homes across South Africa. After many months of product planning and testing, they developed their first collection and launched their online store. Their ethos is rooted in open-ended play, where children learn to rely on their creativity to lead the way as they build and explore. They believe that imaginative, play-based learning is vital during early childhood development. Their popular ‘Knock-A-Block’ is their own version of building blocks, a unique and educational tool for parents, occupational therapists and pre-schools in teaching three-dimensional thinking and hand-eye coordination. Stumped's expanding range of DIY kits aim to equip young minds with practical skills as they build and explore using their creativity. They try encourage children to explore and learn as much as possible when building their own kits, from hammering and using screws to sanding their wood, it is all part of the fun! All their products are locally made in Knysna, South Africa from untreated timber that is sourced from sustainable forests.
